Imbrications, 2020

Imbrications presents a series of images produced in infrared, through the union of photographs of tops of protuberances that appeared as “tips of islands” in the middle of the Salesópolis dam. Taken together, first they form a true archipelago landscape because they have the same geological origin and structure. From a process of agglutination, overlap and simple juxtaposition, I gradually built a body of images that served as an instrument to investigate the relationship between our unconscious and the breadth of knowledge we have about the world.
